No one should have to build a life alone.

Knowledge becomes inheritance when one person carries it to another. Engines of Purpose reconnects young people and emerging adults with mentors who know how to work, solve problems, honor commitments, serve customers, manage resources, and build something others can depend upon.

Apprentices begin by observing and learning the standards of a field. They progress through supervised practice, real responsibility, paid work where appropriate, and increasing independence. The goal is not permanent dependence on a mentor. It is competent adulthood, leadership, ownership, and the obligation to teach the person who comes next.

Youth participation requires informed parental consent, appropriate supervision, safeguarding, lawful work, fair compensation, and clearly separated enterprise relationships.
